Both announcements build on the state’s long-standing position as a hub for chip design talent.
Industry estimates project Karnataka’s semiconductor equipment demand to grow at a compound annual rate of 9.5 percent between 2026 and 2032, underscoring the state’s continued relevance as India’s semiconductor ambitions scale up.
